J Sharp - DSK remix

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

Our Pal J Sharp sent this a few days ago.  It’s a sure fire bomb.  I’ve got so many versions of the original DSK track so it’s good to hear the full lyrics again, rather than the just the Wiley bits.

Jim chops up elements the cheeky Bryce edit and goes all out with a club stomper.  Big for summer ‘08

I like to move it

Philly DJ Emynd did this blend of Reel 2 Real and Ding Dong, its amazing. In his own words:

‘Man, the best thing about Serato [besides saving my back] is that you can whip something up and try it out at the club THAT NIGHT. I dropped this relatively simple, re-sequenced, & re-worked blend of Ding Dong’s “Badman Forward” on top of Reel 2 Reel’s timeless corny house anthem “Move It” at the club last night and it was by far one of the most effective things I played all night. Certainly not something for all crowds, but the Ding Dong vocals add some fresh life to this track and makes it significantly less corn-infused. I’m particularly happy with the swooping delay that leads right up to the Ding Dong vocal drop. ‘

Him and Bo Bliz go under the moniker White T’s and White Belts, check their myspace and site. Turntable Lab have Emynd’s New Orleans Bounce Remix of the wicked South Rakkas song “Mad Again”, buy it here. Cant stop listening to his Fugazi remix…
