In Jamaica the “Version” usually means instrumental. If you’ve got any old 7″ records you can usually spot this on the B-side. Jamaican folk are also keen on covering pop tracks too, many are great and but some are pure jokes. I grew up thinking Shinehead wrote Billie Jean (blatant lie)… Anyway in NYC I picked up a mix CD of Reggae covers & its makes me wish that I had the idea first. Enjoy the classics…

A few months back, I went to dubstep legend EL-B’s studio and handed him a track. He liked it & decided that I get involved in a remix with him. It’s not dubstep, or garage it something else. It’s now being released on counter records in August. Big up Toddla T of for the spins too.
